Representatives from Mongolian University Visit SUMS
Thursday 15 March, Our President, Dr. Kohei Shiota received a courtesy call from Dr. Batbaatar Gunchin, the President of Mongolian National University of Medical Science (MNUMS) and Dr. Sumberzul Nyamjav, Vice President of MNUMS.
SUMS and MNUMS have strengthen the partnership exchanging medical students and researchers based on the Academic Cooperation Agreement that was signed in 2013.
After visiting the President’s room, Dr. Nyamjav gave a lecture and introduced MNUMS’s research, study and educational activities. It led to an active question and answer session with about 30 participants.
They also visited Pharmacy, Radiology Service, Central Clinical Laboratory, Pediatrics and NICU in our university hospital and exchanged thoughts and ideas with our staff members. They enjoyed a friendly conversation with pupils attending the hospital school in the Pediatrics ward.
Through this visiting, we promised to work closely to develop and maintain high quality partnership in education, research and clinical medicine.
